The Information Technology division launched Windows Virtual Desktop in the Spring 2021 semester. Windows Virtual Desktop enables faculty, staff, and students to access their 色搜视频 applications from anywhere at anytime, via the web. The "cloud" refers to information technology services that can be accessed via the Internet regardless of where the infrastructure is located. As 色搜视频 continues to evolve, IT offers this new service to help meet the growing needs of the 色搜视频 community and enhance student success.
What services and applications are available via Windows Virtual Desktop?
There are multiple ways to connect to Windows Virtual Desktop and the Windows Virtual Desktop service is available to all 色搜视频 students and employees. All applications currently available on the 色搜视频 image will be available to members of the 色搜视频 community. This means all software accessible from a computer located in the 色搜视频 Open Access Labs you can get to from anyplace. You can login from anyplace to use these programs with your 色搜视频 credentials.
